1. What types of workplace mindfulness and resilience training do you offer?

We provide customisable workplace training, courses in mindfulness, stress management and resilience, and dynamic talks/practice sessions designed for wellbeing and thriving.

2. How is your workplace training different from other mindfulness programmes?

Our workplace training is designed to be practical, interactive, and immediately applicable, ensuring employees can integrate mindfulness into their daily work life without the need for long meditations or major lifestyle changes. We combine mindfulness techniques with Acceptance and Commitment Coaching (ACC), which adds depth by aligning practices with personal values and goals, helping individuals thrive both at work and in their personal lives.

3. Can training be customised to our organisation’s needs?

Yes! We work with you to select the most appropriate content, format, and delivery method to suit your team’s schedule, challenges, and goals. Additionally we offer a fully customisable course based on our unique modular system.*

 

4. I am a sole practitioner (or have one or two employees), can I still participate in your courses and workshops?

Absolutely! You are very welcome to join us for any of our scheduled courses at mindingu. We are currently working on creating a Small Business Club which will offer two of our talk series monthly for a period of 6 months so you can enjoy the same experience and support as the larger organisations. These will also be held at mindingu.

 

5. How long are the sessions?

We offer flexible formats, from power charged 50 minute sessions to full-day workshops and ongoing multi-week courses.

 

6. Where do the sessions take place?

Training can be delivered at your workplace or at our custom-built wellbeing centre, mindingu, in the scenic Ferguson Valley.*

 

7. How are your programmes tailored to meet the needs of different workplace environments?

Individuals or small teams can join scheduled courses at our Ferguson Valley premises or organisations can arrange the same courses, talks, or workshops exclusively for their team—delivered either at our premises or onsite.*

  • Flexible Course Durations – Options range from short 50-minute sessions to in-depth 12-hour courses.

  • Modular Course Design – Build a course or workshop that fits your team’s unique requirements through our customisable series.

  • Location Options – We can deliver training at your workplace, or you can join us at our dedicated venue.*

 

8. How are your sessions structured—are they in-person, online, or hybrid?

At mindingu we believe that in-person attendance plays a key role in fostering genuine connections within teams. This approach helps participants engage more deeply with one another, promoting empathy, understanding, and team building. Our experience in workplaces has seen how this format strengthens connections, allowing colleagues to bond over shared experiences and challenges. It is our intent to create a supportive environment where meaningful collaboration can flourish. While we recognise that other formats may offer convenience, we are committed to the proven value of in-person interactions to enhance team dynamics.Our gold standard is team attendance at mindingu, where we step away from the normal workday and embrace the calming effect of beautiful natural surroundings. The tranquil environment helps participants relax, and engage more fully with each other, fostering deeper connections and meaningful collaboration. By leaving the workplace behind, we create an opportunity for fresh perspectives and more effective team building in a peaceful, restorative setting.

 

9. What is the ideal group size for your training?

Our premises can accommodate up to 20 people. However, for our courses, it is our preference to keep the group size to a maximum of 12 to ensure more in-depth discussions, personalised attention, and meaningful interactions. For larger groups, we work with the capacity of your workplace or a function centre to meet your needs.

10. How long do sessions typically run, and can they be adapted to fit into a workday?

Our sessions range from 50-minute talks and practice sessions to full-day courses, with additional options available that run over several weeks. All courses are designed to seamlessly fit into a workday, and are conducted during regular business hours, Monday to Friday.

11. What evidence supports the effectiveness of mindfulness and ACT in workplace settings?

There are numerous studies showing the effectiveness of both ACT and mindfulness in the workplace.  For a summary of key benefits, you can request our information sheet here.

 

​​12. Will my team walk away with practical tools they can use daily?

ACT is a behavioural science and consequently all our courses and have a least one actionable tool going forwards. The courses and workshops contain mini exercises that can be practiced throughout the day in the workplace, supported by hand outs.

 

13. Do you hire out the facility?

Our facility is not available for general hire, but we offer an exclusive opportunity for our valued clients to host leadership or team sessions in combination with one of our wellbeing workshops, courses, or mini retreats in our beautiful and tranquil setting. Ideal for high-level strategy, team cohesion, leadership development, or executive reset days, this is a rare and special offering.
