Frequently Asked Questions

When organisations explore wellbeing training, the questions are often thoughtful and practical. That is a good sign. Workplace wellbeing should be approached with care, clarity, and credibility.

Below you will find answers to the most common questions we are asked by HR leaders, business owners, and managers across Bunbury and the South West.

If you would prefer to speak directly, we welcome that conversation.

Workplace Wellbeing: Programmes and Enquiries

  • We offer evidence-based workplace mindfulness and resilience training grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT). Programmes are practical, skills-focused, and tailored to real workplace challenges.

    Training options include:

    • Mindfulness at Work workshops
Practical mindfulness skills to improve focus, learning to relate differently to thoughts and feelings and being more present, without long meditations.

    • Resilience Training
Tools to help employees respond more flexibly to pressure, change and uncertainty.

  • Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT) supports people through both the challenges and the positive moments at work.

In difficult times, it helps individuals respond more flexibly to stress, pressure, and uncertainty. In periods of success or stability, ACT supports people to notice and savour what’s going well, stay connected to their values, and make intentional choices rather than running on autopilot.

Practising these skills when things are going well strengthens resilience for future challenges, while also deepening engagement, satisfaction, and a sense of meaning at work.

  • It is dependent on the course or workshop you attend.

With our Mindfulness Explore Course, outcomes include: Increased awareness of automatic or reactive work patterns, strengthened focus, concentration, and flexible attention in demanding environments; reduced cognitive overload and unproductive multi-tasking; ability to respond more effectively to everyday workplace pressures; development of sustainable practices that support attention, resilience, and wellbeing at work; a more constructive and supportive approach to self-management.

With our resilience course, outcomes include: increased resilience and adaptability during change, reduced stress reactivity and emotional overwhelm, improved focus and decision-making, stronger motivation and values-led performance, more sustainable wellbeing and reduced burnout risk.

The Talk Series is designed to build practical skills that support wellbeing and resilience at work. Across the full series, participants are introduced to the complete resilience model, while individual talks focus on specific skills or workplace themes.

  • Our work translates wellbeing into practical, accessible skills that fit real work and real life. Through workshops, courses, and retreats, we empower people through our engaging, relevant and supportive training.

Programmes are offered in flexible formats, from short, high-impact sessions to longer courses, delivered in workplaces or at our rural mindingu Centre — a restorative setting 30 minutes drive from Bunbury.

Every session is designed so participants leave with one clear, realistic action they feel confident implementing immediately. Our non-clinical approach supports proactive wellbeing and can complement EAPs and existing programmes.

  • Anyone looking to improve wellbeing, manage stress, or develop practical life and workplace skills. We work with individuals, small teams, and larger organisations. This work is designed for people who are generally well enough to participate safely and benefit from skills-based learning. It is not a substitute for therapy or clinical treatment, so anyone experiencing severe mental health difficulties should seek professional support before joining .

    • Flexible Course Durations – Options range from short 50-minute sessions to in-depth 12-hour courses.

  • Our premises can accommodate up to 20 people. However, for our courses, it is our preference to keep the group size to a maximum of 12 to ensure more in-depth discussions, personalised attention, and meaningful interactions. For larger groups, we work with the capacity of your workplace or a function centre to meet your needs.

  • The courses and workshops contain mini exercises that can be practiced throughout the day in the workplace, supported by hand outs and recordings* if applicable.  One of our key differences is that we want the skills to be user friendly enough to be easily integrated into your day and each session ends with a clear, realistic action you feel confident implementing immediately.

    *workshop/course dependent

  • Our programmes are designed to be additive, not competitive. They provide practical skills and proactive wellbeing care that complements EAPs, coaching, and other workplace initiatives, helping embed wellbeing in daily work and life.
