꩜ take a breath and pause for a while
There comes a point for many women where coping is no longer enough.
You may be managing work, family, relationships, expectations, and responsibilities well on the outside, yet feeling stretched thin underneath. You might notice self-criticism becoming louder, patience wearing thinner, or a quiet sense of disconnection from yourself.
mindingu’s self development tools are designed to support you in relating to yourself differently, so you can live with more steadiness, clarity, and intention.
At mindingu, we offer mindfulness and personal development experiences for women across Bunbury and the South West that are practical, grounded, and evidence-informed.
Practical skills for navigating life with more clarity, steadiness and self-trust
mindingu combines mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Coaching (ACC), values-based reflection and self-compassion practices to help people build practical skills for navigating stress, change and everyday pressures.
This involves supporting you to develop awareness, flexibility and the ability to respond to life in ways that feel more aligned with who you want to be.
mindingu’s Approach to Personal Development & Wellbeing
mindingu’s work is grounded in evidence-based psychological approaches while remaining warm, human and practical.
We facilitate:
Mindfulness and awareness practices
Acceptance and Commitment Coaching (ACC)
Self-compassion and emotional regulation skills
Values reflection and life alignment
Practical tools that can be used in everyday life
Participants often leave feeling more grounded, clearer about what matters to them, and better equipped to respond to life’s challenges.
Grounded in Evidence, Delivered with Care
Our work draws on principles from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), alongside mindfulness and self-compassion.
This combination supports not only awareness, but also meaningful action. You learn how to notice your thoughts and feelings without getting caught up in them, while still moving towards what matters in your life.
We offer mini retreats and small group experiences at the mindingu Centre in the Ferguson Valley.

Gentle, guided moments to pause and recharge
Morning tea and space for informal connection
You are always free to engage in the way that feels right for you.

Our mini retreats are designed for women who are:
Feeling stretched, overwhelmed, or constantly “on”
Navigating change, uncertainty, or sustained pressure
Longing for space to pause and reflect
Interested in practical tools that they can use in every day life
For women who want connection and the freedom to engage in ways that feel safe and authentic
You do not need to have prior experience with mindfulness. You do not need to be calm. You do not need to have everything figured out. You simply need a willingness to pause and notice.
-
While every participant’s experience is unique, many women describe leaving with:
A greater sense of grounding and clarity
Increased emotional steadiness
Reduced intensity of self-criticism
A renewed connection to what matters most
Practical strategies they continue using in daily life
The shift is often subtle rather than dramatic. It feels more like coming home to yourself than reinventing yourself.

Held in the Heart of the Ferguson Valley
Our retreats take place at the mindingu Centre in the Ferguson Valley, a peaceful rural setting within easy reach of Bunbury and the South West.
Large windows open onto trees and open sky. There is birdsong in the background and space to breathe more deeply than usual. The natural environment isn’t just scenery. It becomes a quiet partner in the experience, supporting reflection and steadiness.
Stepping out of your usual environment often makes it easier to see your life more clearly.

Life moves quickly, and it’s easy to get caught up in planning, multitasking and constant mental noise. Sometimes a small pause is enough to help you reconnect with yourself.
Our free Mini Resets guide introduces a series of short mindfulness practices designed to help you slow down, return to the present moment, and check in with yourself during the day.
These practices take only seconds and can be done almost anywhere — at home, at work, or whenever you need a brief moment to reset.
